Two Delta Air Traces planes collided whereas taxiing for takeoff at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Worldwide Airport early Tuesday. A Delta Airbus A350’s wingtip hit the tail of a Delta CRJ 900 regional jet operated by Endeavor Airways. No accidents had been reported.

Passengers from the regional flight had been safely transported again to the terminal, whereas each flights had been grounded. The airline has assured that passengers will probably be accommodated on alternate flights. Delta’s Airbus A350 had 221 passengers, whereas the regional jet carried 56.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed that the runway and close by taxiways have been closed because of the incident. The FAA and Nationwide Transportation Security Board are investigating the collision.
