Musqueam Secures Historic Income Settlement with Canada Strengthening Self-Governance

Musqueam Chief Wayne Sparrow, alongside the Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs, and the Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of Transport and Inside Commerce (signing in counterpart), have formalized a landmark settlement making certain the Authorities of Canada shares a portion of floor lease revenues with the Musqueam Indian Band. These revenues are collected from the Vancouver Airport Authority, marking a big step in financial reconciliation.
