Pakistan Worldwide Airways (PIA) is making a big comeback in European airspace, with plans to renew direct flights to the UK and France following the lifting of the European Union Aviation Security Company (EASA) ban. This marks a significant milestone for the airline after a four-year hiatus from European locations, which started after a security investigation into pilot licensing points. With the EASA clearance, PIA is now poised to restart its European operations, starting with companies to London and Manchester, and shortly, Paris, signaling a renewed period of connectivity between Pakistan and key European hubs.

Initially, flights will function from London and Manchester to Pakistan, with plans in movement to restart companies from Birmingham within the close to future.
Earlier, a security audit of Pakistan’s aviation requirements was performed by a delegation from the UK’s Division for Transport and Civil Aviation Authority. The group reviewed security protocols, operational procedures, and documentation to make sure compliance with UK aviation rules.
