Air New Zealand turned a 12-hour flight right into a festive wonderland, delighting over 200 vacationers with dazzling Christmas surprises and vacation magic within the skies.
Vacationers aboard NZ7, departing from San Francisco to Auckland on December 24, launched into a singular 12-hour journey that might take them throughout the worldwide date line, bypassing Christmas Day completely and touchdown on December 26.

“The vacations are a time to come back along with family members, and we all know lacking Christmas Day can clip the wings of that festive feeling. So, we determined to sleigh expectations and create a sky-high celebration like no different, sprinkling some magic on this journey.
“Our unimaginable group lit up the cabin interiors with a festive gentle show, taking travellers on a journey from a snowy northern hemisphere Christmas to the sunny summer season seashore Christmas in Aotearoa.
“Passengers have been handled to a Christmas feast, that includes a vacation menu that included a standard Christmas roast with succulent turkey, candy potato mash, and a decadent Christmas xmas log for dessert.
“Our holidaymakers also received a set of thoughtful gifts to commemorate the unique journey. Among the surprises were a custom-designed Christmas tree decoration and a charming aircraft-shaped Christmas cookie as sweet souvenirs to remember the once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
