Avianca Launches New Seasonal Route Connecting San Salvador with Chicago Beginning June 2025

Avianca is about to introduce a brand new seasonal service linking San Salvador with the Chicago space, scheduled to begin on June 3, 2025.
This seasonal route will function throughout the peak summer time months, using Airbus A320 plane with a seating capability of 180. The airline will run three flights every week, providing a complete of 1,080 seats per week for direct connections between Chicago O’Hare Worldwide Airport and El Salvador Worldwide Airport.
“We are excited to strengthen connectivity between Chicago and San Salvador, a vibrant destination rich in culture, history, and natural beauty,” mentioned Rolando Damas, Avianca’s Gross sales Director for North America, Central America, Europe, and the Caribbean. “This route will not only benefit Salvadorans traveling to the U.S. but also open new opportunities for visitors from Chicago and beyond to explore everything El Salvador has to offer.”

This new addition additional enhances Avianca’s in depth community, which already consists of 13 direct routes between the U.S. and El Salvador. Passengers touring from the U.S. may also make the most of the airline’s Hub in El Salvador to simply hook up with different key locations throughout Central America, together with Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, and Honduras.
